Do your self a huge favor and find else where. If you don't heed this warning, do not say I didn't tell you. You'll be amazed at how nice it is but if you take a closer look you might learn alot of these things for yourself.
1. their standards for security should read "their financial security" I have been living here 6 months and had my car broken into twice. You complain about the lax security and you are scoffed at. No one has any answers, no one is ever looking, but yet you'll be harrased while paying thier salary. Meanwhile teenagers run around and do as they wish there. Do you think I wanted to see some punk kids smoking a joint outside of the back doors when I was walking my in-laws to the car'' Yeah great view for an 8 year old to see as well. I called security but alas no-one spoke english!!!! I live in America last I checked! the only solution I am starting to see is start carrying a gun and watch my car all night.
2. Maintenance is a joke. As stated before I have been living here 6 months and twice now my A/C has broken. Called maintenance, and had to wait almost a week and a half of no means of cooling but my windows to have someone look at it. what exactly am I paying for' oh thats right, "the financial maintenance of the miltons future" I assumed it was maintenance on my rental!! the moral of this I guess is to pray nothing breaks or hold you're breath waiting.
3. Parking is a nightmare! hope you have strong legs because if you go out and think you are parking next to or in front of your building, you are sadly mistaken.
4. general up keep of the grounds is lazy and half done always. if you look you can find most of the employees hiding in the parking garages all over the grounds. Oh and if you love roaches, stay by the garbage chute! My neighbors down the hall seem to just love their uninvited friends! If you think that pool looks good, I hope you are immune to hypothermia.
5. The staff on the office is rude and not very helpful. They will give you smiles and friendly scharades long enough to get you into the lease. Afterwhich you are nothing more than a check and a burden to them. I called up there quite a few times to find out who I needed to talk with to complain about maintenance and was left on hold repeatedly for lengths of of time.
In general if you like to have your money taken from you with no results than live here all you want. But my honest opinion I would probably be getting better service out of some prostitute hotel on 8th street. This is just my opinion I hope it saves someone some heartache. I wish I would have known about this site sooner.
