This place is the worst place in miami to live. YOu would think that for the price of the rent that you pay you would actually get a "fair" share of customer service but forget it. As soon as you sign the lease they make sure you know that your stay here will be anything but pleasant. I'm renting what they call "The Suites" since I needed a washer and dryer in unit but I did not know that the only cable provider at the suites is CAMCO Cable a total nightmare. Just so you know how bad this cable is, they don't even provide you a cable box, you have no way of knowing what you're watching and they charge a whopping ninety something dollars for 70 channels. THen there's the maintenance people that comes in your unit to fix what was wrong when you moved and tell you that your stove doesn't need 4 burners, that you should be able to live with 3!!! THere is no such thing like an emergency (only fire I'm told) that will make the maintenance people come help you afterhours.... I still have a mildew stain on my apartment that the "you don't need 4 burners" guy told me he would be right back and never came back. This is just the beginning of my year long commitment to this dump I'm looking for legal advise today to see how I can get out of this contract because cannot wait to get out of here!!! I wish I had seen this website 3 month ago!!!

Response: Here is another problem, the cable charges different amounts to different people.... My first, second and third bills have been ninety something dollars until I canceled it. I believe that the "card" with a list of channels that you mean would be the xerox of a poorly created list of channels and I do look thru that piece of crap to see what channel I'm watching but as far as knowing WHAT I'm watching such as program and movie titles, forget it....And using my 7 month old high definition TV for crystal clear images, forget that too... you see ghosts in the local channel and some channels can't even be heard. Does the person who responded to this first work here, because either you know someone here to get the service you're getting or I have really bad luck with people... oh and the mildew stain, was painted over and now is back! called them 3 times already and have not heard from them... called the manager 5 different times, she is never there either.
If you want to move here or anywhere else you have to do your homework - something I didn't do - talk to neighbors, look it up online, drive by at night and you will get a feeling to what you're getting yourself to. Only 16% of people who placed their review here recommend this dump, how can the other 84% be lying'

uhm .. i live in the suites and have 70 channels of which i do not pay anywhere near 90 dollars for. Yes there is no cable box but who cares becuase you still use a remote control to go through the channels. They also give you a card with all the cable channels on it. Don't be lazy and use the card. As for the maintenance, that is strange becuase I have had to call maintenance in the past and they have addressed my concerns quickly.

My granddaughters just moved in yesterday and up to now, everything has been as we expected. We will see as time goes by, but they are students and this place isso close to FIU that it seems the ideal place. it has a lovely pool, a gym, and a small convenience store. It is well protected. The apartment was painted with new carpets when they received it. This is mostly a place for young couples or FIU students.

my family just moved to Fountainbleau Milton weve been here 1 month and yes we too have 3 burners on our stove. And yes weve called maintenance and they dont seem to really care.iIt took 2 weeks to get them to come in and kill flees infestation that was left from previous tenant. My wife was badly bitten and now she has to dress like shes in the Arabian desert to hide all the scars. And yes we ordered the cable (Camco)and weve had it for a while and they still havent given us our router that weve already paid for.When we call the office to ask wheres our router the responce is that the Technician is already onsite and he forgot or didnt know he was supposed to bring it. Well of course they didnt forget to send the first bill even though they cant remember our router. We walked through a different Apartment prior to renting it appeared clean but after moving in we noticed that the Apartment we rented was not even close to being as clean.(not to mention the flees again) But we signed a 14 month lease and it didnt really matter were already looking for a new place. The Tenant that lives below came knocking on my door with a baseball bat because he couldnt sleep he works at night. Ihad to let him just so he would know the noise was actually coming from upstairs. We moved here from out of State so we booked this place pretty much over the internet. If youre gonna move here i just want to say I think this is mostly for single people who dont mind abnoisy parties on the weekends. We shouldve known from the start when we moved in we had to wait an extra night(Hotel) because we waited 30 minutes for service in the front office trying to get our keys and when we finally got to talk to someone she told us they closed in 5 minutes and She didnt get paid overtime.My wife told were customers and she said she didint care. So far the whole experience has been for lack of A better word DISSAPOINTING. All I have left is so far im part of the 84%.
