Location, Location! ...that's about it

At this point I am rather indifferent to this community. Esthetically and feature wise it is great! The building is well maintained and the location is great, right in the center of everything. I have a unit that is literally right next to the elevator and garbage chute and can't hear anything, so the construction and sound-proofing is really good. Unfortunately, there is MAJOR construction going on across the street on Giralda 6 DAYS A WEEK, and it is VERY LOUD. It's been going on for two months and seems indefinite at this point. Wakes me up every morning at 7a, so beware of the Giralda-facing units.
However, that's where the positives end. The actual units themselves are atrocious on the inside. For a building of this caliber (built in 1998) and price-point, there is absolutely no reason for the cheapness of the interiors. White everywhere, construction-grade cabinets, bathrooms, kitchen, everything in the units is pretty blah up to the popcorn ceilings. For $1300 for a one-bedroom it could be much better quality.
I don't know what the previous poster is talking about the electric bill. Literally, my electric bill is less than $50 each month, though I only run the a/c once I get home and it's off at night. You do have to pay for individually-metered water as well, which is somewhat ridiculous.
The office staff is interesting. You better hope to catch them on a good day because they do have a brash attitude towards most interactions with residents. That being said though, I had a horrendous move-in day and they did go above and beyond to correct things and make it right for me. Unfortunately Melanie (the manager) is gone and I don't know much about her replacement.
Now, the parking situation is a mess. There is NO PARKING FOR GUESTS! You only get one garage spot per apartment and have to pay for any more, even if you have more than one bedroom. All in all, I probably won't be renewing my lease next year, the price I'm paying is okay but I won't pay anymore for the lack of quality in the units. SROlYjGrgm2VnM-SactV
