My fiance and I have lived here for 8 months now and we have no major complaints. Though the gate is open during high traffic times (rush hour and some other times), I feel very safe at this complex. The pool, the one by the leasing office in particular, is wonderful. Though the pool isn't very large, it lends itself for lots of relaxation and fun. Adding to the relaxation, the landscaping at the complex is very well maintained. Also, our actual apartment is very spacious and suits our needs.
The management/leasing office is very helpful. We actually went out on a limb coming here from Virginia without viewing the facility until a few days prior to move-in. The apartment was freshly painted and the carpets were just shampooed. Needless to say, we were/are very satisfied by the complex and the staff. Maintenence is also helpful and has a 24 hour response policy; they do what is in their power to help.
Our only complaints would be trash pick-up and low-grade appliances/fixtures. Trash pick-up is 5 days a week, which is great. However, it is picked up outside your front door. It is seemingly convenient, but creates issues with people putting garbage out on non-pick-up days or times, stains on the concrete halls, and the overall unattractiveness of it all. Essentially, people are too lazy to walk it down to the compactor when it's not a pick-up day or the appropriate time. Low-grade appliances and fixtures are just a minor annoyance.
