I lived here now for over a year and things are getting worse. No garbage disposal or washer/dryer included, just 1 set for every 16 apartments. I?ve called for maintenance about 5 times and filled out two repair forms (because the first one was ?missed place?) within the last 6 months and I?m yet to see any repairs (bath & electrical). All of their appliances are over 10 years old and in desperate need of replacement or major repairs. No wonder they cycle through some many maintenance workers. Thank god I live in the second floor, because the first floor hallway is filled with Duck ---- and is only cleaned by the neighbor or I when I have some free time to kill. If you come from work after 8pm (which is often for me), prepare for a two minute walk after you find a parking space on the other side of the neighborhood.

The only thing I enjoy about my apartment is the lake view, only because I filled 3 Hefty Bags of glass beer bottles (some shattered), soda cans, and trash the day I moved in. Some of the trash that was found in 1-2 feet of water (I went in) included a Tricycle, 20 foot PVC Tube, Hamper, plastic bags, and lots of fishing line. All found only within 10 yards and has been accumulating since hurricane Andrew from what I heard. When I asked the office why it was never cleaned up, he responded by telling me that they where not aloud to come within 2 feet of the water line because of insurance reasons. I wish I could tell you more but I think this message broad has a limit on characters typed. I?ll let the other residences know about this site so they can also rate LakeSide Villias. 3-31-05

Yes, the ducks are bad, but things have gotten much better around here. Only if the people could improve... By the way, everything around here gose up in price...this is Miami.
