I used to live at Ludlam Point last year. I transferred in with a roommate (we both went to UM) and found this place at the last minute, and it turned out to be the perfect place. The rooms are spacious with a ton of closet space (perfect for storage). The leasing office was very helpful with the entire process, including providing us with information for the cable and water and all the necessary utilities. Everything was in working order when I moved in and the move in process was very easy. Anytime we had a maintenence issue (which was not often) the staff was extremely helpful and everything was fixed promptly. I know a lot of posts say the gate was never working, however it wasnt broken very often in the time I lived there. Most of the problems with the gate was the impatience of the other tenants, as I had seen some try to mess with it, which caused the problems. The pool is one of the complex's best features. It has a barbeque area so you can host small gatherings, which is really nice. The fitness center is small but accomodating. There is also a basketball court at the end of the parking lot. Everything is easily accessible, no matter what building you live in. If I hadn't graduated yet, I would still be in my apartment at Ludlam Point. It is a great place to live and it is very convenient and economical, especially for students!
