Initially the staff was very friendly and helpful, but as time went on there was always a lot of noise from people in the community around the pool area late at night and when I complained about it and the staff was less than helpful in resolving the problem. Several issues in the apartment occurred and the maintenance was very slow to respond. Several months later, they finally hired a night guard to protect people from the cars that had been broken into. The gated security was always a joke, due to the fact the gate was broken at least 20% of the time and left wide open random strangers driving in. Another pleasant part of the community was dog crap resting everywhere. Finally, when I left, we did a walk through the community and I spoke to management regarding the condition of the apartment and they stated it was in great condition and I would maybe be charged maybe $50 to clean a couple of spots in the carpet. However, I received an almost $500 deduction from the deposit for the great condition of the apartment. If you want to be ripped off, deal with incompetent management and be constantly dodging dog crap, this is the place for you!! Enjoy!!

One more addition: When I lived there, they were always offering $50 gift certificates for writing POSITIVE reviews on apartments.com, this might be the explanation for some of the strangley positive reviews...

I got it... you're that type of neighbor that probably made all the noise and you're dog crapped everywhere and when you got charged for it you do what you do best... ----- about it. you're a winner glad you're not my neighbor anymore. LOSER!

Actually quiet with no pets! ;) Thanks for reminding me to mention the low class people who manage to get approval to live there. I thought they did background checks, it must just be for the extra money! You can get a clear indication from the reviewer above. Thanks for emphasizing my point buddy.

Thanks for spending so much of your time attending to reviews on a community you did enjoy living at. As far as the reviewer above, although I don't agree with the delivery of his review, I didn't agree with yours either. Ludlam has gone through major changes and I for one am glad to have experienced it! Sorry you didn't.
