Ludlam Point

 

I am a current resident at Ludlam Point and have been for almost 3 years.

At the end of 2008 I was going to move out for many reasons.

The staff at the office was the worst I've ever dealt with in my years of renting.

The maintenance, although the actual maintenance men were very nice...

the so called maintenance manager was the most unapproachable person I have ever come across.

She has the attitude of...

I'm just too important to deal with your issues.

The gates, if they worked, I was amazed.

The pool area, marketed as nice & relaxing...

yeah right! Thugs, thugs, and more thugs! Then by some miracle of what seemed to be the owners intelligence, they hire a new manager and a new leasing girl!

I come in to give my notice to move and the new manager actually asked why.

So, I explained.

To my amazement, she sat there and listened (not something I'm used to at this office).

With a smile she just simply said...

I'm so sorry that your experience here has been negative but if you would give me the opportunity to show you all the changes I have planned for this great community, you will not be disappointed.

I don't know why I believed her but I did.

She said as a temporary trial to my management, I will renew your lease with an option to move out with no penalties.

At this point I thought, why not.

She was pleasant, friendly, and actually seemed genuine.

I was amazed within the first month.

The office was actually a place I wasn't avoiding.

On the contrary, I would make a point to stop in.

Not only for the cookies but because it was pleasant.

Maintenance was still an issue but if I called the manager directly, it would get done.

No more 2nd, 3rd, and 4th requests.

The pool area...

good bye thugs.

I remember seeing her walk at night and with no fear, politely enough walk them off the property.

At this point I said to myself...

Thank you god! Finally someone that not only says they care but actually does.

Unfortunately, from one day to another management changed (which cannot be answered by the current staff) and if you think it doesn't make a difference...

IT DOES! We are now back to the same --------! Office staff couldn't be any ruder.

I already expected it from the lady they call a maintenance manager (what a joke) but the new leasing girl (WOW) words don't even begin to explain how rude and belittling she is! I am right now watching THUGS poolside and am wishing the old manager was around!

My lease is up soon and you better believe that I am moving out.

These owners have no idea what they're doing and can only hope that for the sake of all that will continue to live here, they figure something out quick! Because in speaking to my neighbors...

NOT ONE OF THEM IS HAPPY!

Do yourself a favor...

if you are considering this complex...
