The manager is rarely in his office and when he is, he gives you odd looks and asks accusatory questions such as "What happened in your apartment yesterday!'" It turns out that the apartment below ours had water damage to their ceiling, so the manager assumed we had done something wrong. (We hadn't.) About the only good thing is the pleasant dispositions of the two or three handymen and the night-watchman. In general, though, you do not feel welcome there. Also the elevators are far too often broken. The owner refuses to make the investment in a better (and safer) system.
