I'm sorry that someone had an unpleasant experience with the landlord, I'm not sure if it was the same landlord I met, since he was here only a month before I moved in and the prior landlord was fired... SO ANYWAY, I am planning to move out soon just because my room mate is a total nightmare and has made me feel real down about the apartment. However, the apartment's in an EXCELLENT location, I'm a college girl, and I felt comfortable walking out to my car at night since it was well lit, and the landlord is exceptional. A water heater broke and he was there at 1am on a Saturday night cleaning up! The electricity bill is phenomenally low and the appliances are old (only in certain apartments, like mine), but work beautifully. I am moving out mostly to move in with my boyfriend and leave my room mate (who couldn't pay his half of the bills) hangin'. This is a great choice as a first apartment since the landlord explained everything in great detail... I liked it a lot.
