I have lived here. It is a nightmare. If you like, check the online records for Florida's civil division and you'll see the civil suit being brought against the manager of this landfill. He decides that waiting a year for air conditioning repairs isn't long enough for a couple 9 months pregnant. After explaining how we slept on the floor several nights because the two window units I bought ($600 total out of MY pocket) didn't suffice, he felt the $350 I planned on deducting from the month's rent was "not in compliance with our lease agreement terms". He felt that although I paid thousands of dollars on upkeep and spoiled food (due to their faulty refrigerator), we weren't obligated to do so and that he basically doesn't acknowledge the time, money and effort spent in this regard.

His mistake was that he mistook kindness for a weakness and now is realizing the gentlest giants have the deepest bite.

THIS REVIEW IS A SCAM ... We've operated our 27 unit building for nearly four years with many satisfied residents. The negative review posted is from a wholly delusional past tenant with the maturity of an 8 year old who did thousands of dollars in damage to a great apartment - which was quite happily occupied before AND after their year of occupancy! The (essentially jealous) tenant's fraudulent claim was quickly dismissed by the court. For the record, this tenant had lived in the same unit a number of months during the summer BEFORE signing a full year lease! We stand by not allowing renewal of their lease. For the record, Mid Bay Hell is a slum. The only positive reviews are the ones written by the owners. How come the building is so wonderful that they don't live there? They live at the building next door. If Mid Bay Slum is wonderland they should be living there. Each afternoon they run out of the building like rats...
