I leased an apartment for 1 year. In the contract it says you get your deposit back in 30 days. I got it back in 60 days. When i called the office they said that was not their problem. I will get the money when i get it. They took 77.00 off the deposit because they did not get the key on the 1st of the month. Even though i was completely moved out way before. The alarm system goes off everytime it rains hard. If you call the emergency number no one answers. You have to call a million times to get anyone to fix a problem in the apartment. Unfortunately what you sign for in your contract is not what you are getting. Only what is convenient for them like 150.00 extra if you rent is 1 day late. Last but not least right before my lease was due they wanted to raise my rent to 150.00 more a month.
