Good but you'd better shop around

The people in this community are the worst. Everyone is up to something and the kids are even worse. People run all kinds of eterprises right from their patios (some legal some not). We decided to move out when the drug dealers upstairs had a turf war battle with some other thugs. I still feel guilty when I remember having to yell at my 8 y/o daughter to lay down on the ground b/c some of the dumb-asses were brandishing firearms.

They started assigning parking but kept 6 of the spaces hostage. These spaces were for collecting garbage (the grounds keeper did a LOT of dumpster diving) and several Vans that didn't move for the 1.5 years we suffered there.

People walked their dogs IN THE TENNIS COURTS and let them do their business. None of the pools were ever open for an entire year. We were once ushered out because of a problem with bacteria in the water (no signs were up).

The gym is really nice.

No safe place for kids to play so they would rough house next to cars and left HUGE scratches on my girlfriend's car. There was a near fatalitity everday in the parking lot because it WAS the playground. Kids would be yelling by our window until past 10pm on school nights and beyond 2am on weekends and holidays.

Kitchen appliances are from the civil war era apparently (hotpoint is the worst brand and they bought the cheapest).

Walking your dog means finding a gate to get out that was usually chained and padlocked (so they'd just have to go in the parking lot).

Their "Security Guards" (misuse of the term) resided in the complex and spent most of the day within a few feet of their apartment if not down right inside their apartment for hours on end.

Washer/Dryers were always broken and it was common to start a wash near your building but then dry it in another. People would criss-cross the parking lot all day to find working machines.

Maria (office manager) is a joke and leaves the longest most drawn out broadcasts on your voice ail. This is no exaggeration: She once left a message about rennovations that wuold affect units 8 through 26, but instead of saying 8 through 26 she said "units 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14...25, and 26." I couldn't believe it! I kept the VM for my girlfriend and friends to hear! And then she repeated it in Spanish!!!!!! LOL what a weirdo. She likes to hear herself talk - at least one person does.

Barbara was a top-notch credit to that community!
