Nob Hill pros and cons
From: -Anonymous-Date posted: 2/22/2006
Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2006
Good things about living at Nob Hill:
Rent is reasonable
Parking is pretty good
It is close to the metrobus line
The complex feels pretty safe
The landscape at the entrance is nice-looking
Nice tile floors available in apartments(for extra cost)
Aggravating things about living at Nob Hill:
The dumpsters are often overflowing with trash.
There are many noisy, unsupervised pre-teens that hang around the complex and vandalize just about anything they can get their hands on (I'm not kidding!)
Carpet in units is stained and dirty upon move-in (pay the extra money to get a tiled unit!!!) Our carpets were wet on our scheduled move-in day, and they weren't even clean.
Our A/C system has serious mold & mildew problems.
Landscape around the units is poorly maintained and it is just exposed soil/mud in many areas.
The office does not accept packages for residents.
Mailboxes are too small and mail is often extremely crumpled - there isn't a place to send outgoing mail.
Laundry facilities are often broken.
Office staff is rarely available and they do not stick to their office hours. They are disorganized and from the time that we signed up for an apartment to when we moved in they changed our apartment address several times.
Half of the irrigation heads around the complex are broken and spray where they aren't supposed to. They spray cars and people, make mud puddles, and water the sidewalks every night.
Just visit the complex and you can see all of these things for yourself!!
