The noise level here is crazy. There IS a train that runs right next to the complex and is very loud. I live on the opposite side of the complex so you think the noise would be a little muffled, not really. Everyday there are kids running up and down the hallway yelling like maniacs and their parents never tell them to hush. It is true that most of the maintenance only speaks spanish which makes it very difficult to communicate. It's not really that safe to walk in the streets because there is no room if a car is coming down the road. If you choose to live here, please don't live on the first floor unless you absolutely have to. You can hear the door banging closed every time someone enters and leaves the building. There are also kids that hang out by the pool doing drugs late at night. However, the staff is nice and the complex is taken care of very well. If there is a maintenance problem they almost always come right away and fix it. I have had a problem with appliances, pipe leaks, the kitchen faucet drips, ants are always coming in off of the patio and they come through the walls in the bathroom (very strange).
