Things have changed around here!

It is true: For awhile, things were a bit rough at Nob Hill Apartments. The three hurricanes in 2004 took their toll, as they did everywhere, and recovery was rough. Budget cuts during that time made maintenance a bit shaky from time-to-time.
However, I would like to point out that I have lived at Nob Hill Apartments since 1997. In January of that year, I moved into a two bedroom/two bath apartment, and was there until 2001. In 2001, I moved into a three bedroom/two bath. I've lived in this complex for twelve years!
Perhaps my longevity here has been one of the reasons I've gotten great service from the management staff; but, I think everyone here who is reasonable and polite gets great service. In my building alone, there are two other families who have lived here longer than I. They have raised their children in this complex, and now that some of their children are grown and out on their own, they stay.
I think that in itself is a testament to Nob Hill's superior service to their residents.
From time-to-time, as my lease came up for renewal, I have entertained the thought of moving. But no matter where I look, and no matter how new or expensive, I simply cannot find the square footage available here. The complex is one of the oldest in Orlando, and when they were built, they were built HUGE.
Ana is perhaps the nicest apartment manager you will ever meet, and the maintenance supervisor, Jesse, is quick and courteous.
I work nights: I sleep during the day. When things here need fixing, the staff is so trustworthy that I have NO problem with them being in the apartment working, unsupervised, while I am in bed sleeping.
And Jesse works so quietly that he doesn't wake me up!
I think having that much trust and faith in the staff working here says a lot about how wonderful this place is. In this day and age, it's hard to trust anyone . . . but I trust the security of my property and belongings to them.
The neighbors who are long-time tenants watch out for each other. Just last week, one of our neighbors went into the hospital; and, she had no one to feed her cats. She called Ana . . . and Ana has the housekeeper checking on her animals every day, feeding them and changing their litter box.
Can you find something like that at any other complex' I think not!
I'm very happy with where I have lived the past twelve years. In about two years, I'll be buying my first house, and to be honest, I'll be sad to leave this place.
If you're looking for a convenient location, HUGE apartments, and an honest staff, Nob Hill is the place to live. Give it a try.
And for the record -- I am a real tenant. If anyone has any questions, feel free to email me at BStuartMyers@gmail.com.
