Not a wise choice at all.

First allow me to start by saying that I previously lived in this community for about 2 years.
The area seems beautiful since, yes property taxes are sky high and the city of Doral has recently fully cooperated themselves.
Palm Gardens lacks in customer satisfaction in a numerous amount of ways.
Starting with the office staff, they are not professional individuals; Lack of English and Decency.
There is no security to watch the lot and you would figure it did with the amount of rent.
The entire complex as well as the entire city is over populated with Venezuelans.
I have found these people to be an arrogant, self center, rude, uneducated individuals.
Seems like they have descended from a third world country to overtake a part of the US for themselves.
The complex and City itself is another country itself.
If you don t speak Spanish, find yourself moving to Broward County.
The parking spaces are small.
The parking spaces are facing the concrete sidewalks that where made ridiculously high.
Meaning if you don t have a bumper sensor, consider you bumper of your car dented and/or scratched when parking along the sidewalks.
Finally aside from the people and staff the parking lot is filled with kids running, yelling and playing ball by someones car.
It's horrible to see how they don't either spend time with their family or go to the park that is located behinbd the Elementary School down the street.
I have moved away from this complex and city altogether, I suggested you should too.

I completely agree with Critic411 on this. I was born in Venezuela, but I have lived here in the U.S. for 15 years and it's just horrible to deal with Venezuelans. I have not gone back to Venezuela since then, Doral is full of people like this and that's when I decided to move to Broward, as you said in your post. I feel for you and I understand, and as a Venezuelan, I apologize for the way they behave. I used to live on this complex and the manager was extremely rude in two separate occasions.
Everything Critic411 said is true. Kids have no respect to others, they move the trash containers to the middle of the streets at night, just for the hell of it, and they knock-and-run every single night, one day I got tired of it and ran behind 2 of the kids, grabbed them and ask them to take me home to their parents, the parents were just laughing at me because they were just kids having fun, while my mom was in her room sleeping because she had just gotten surgery, again, NO RESPECT.
Parking spots are hard to find, you only get one reserved parking spot per household, and good luck finding guest parking spots at night. The complex charges a NON-REFUNDABLE fee of $80 to get an entrance card, and when you leave the complex you must return the card even though you payed the NON-REFUNDABLE $80. Does that even make sense?
Stay away.
