This place was good for me in the sense that it is very well priced, but you lose a lot by cheaping out apparently. The crime is INSANEEEE! I got three of my tires slashed in the parking lot along with two other cars the same night. And when I tried to park my disabled car in the handicapped spot in front of my apartment (the nearest available LEGAL parking is a ten minute walk away) the security guard made me move it on my three flat tires all the way to the back of the complex! Meanwhile, when my tires were actually being slashed, all he was doing was either taking a nap, or putting stickers on people's cars for parking illegally when there is no assigned parking in sight. There are spots near my apartment, but they are perpetually occupied by cars that are being stored there and NEVER MOVE. EVER. When I spoke to the development manager about the issue, I was told that it states in my lease that the security guard is a "courtesy guard" and is not there to protect us. What on earth is he there for then' Oh right, to put stickers on my car when I want to unload groceries without a ten minute stroll. Cars constantly park in the middle of the street blocking in other vehicles. There are ants in all the first floor apartments. They charge a FORTUNE for pets. Its about 700 deposit (NON REFUNDABLE!) PER PET, PLUS an additional 25 per pet per month! Someone said something on here about noise, but I live in building 4 and I don't really hear my neighbors all too much. My neighbors are actually really nice. The worst part was when someone decided to vandalize all the mailboxes and it took the development TWO MONTHS to fix them! Meanwhile, I had to drive fifteen minutes to a shady ass post office to claim my mail. For the most part, the actual apartment wasn't too bad, but life completely surrounding it is horrible. If you aren't into spending 500 bucks on your car every month and walking twenty minutes a day, this place is NOT for you.

Wow, I cannot believe the crim is still going on! I had my car broken into 2 times when I lived there and they told me the same about the security who had my car towed because I had a falt tire I got that same day and it looked abandoned! I feel for you. That is why I left Plametto Place! I advise you to leave as soon as your lease is up! Oh but please make sure you notify them in WRITTING 60 DAYS PRIOR to your lease ending, otherwise they will hit you up with rediculous Insufficient Notice Fees! Take a day to go over your lease and observe the incompleteness and terribly written document us poor people sign! You will be amazed!

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I agree with both. Ok so your car got torn up.....my apt got burglarized, stole my laptop, fine jewlery, digital cams...........oh and managment as rude as can be, except for Annette (the only one concerned) My lease is up in 2 months, already sent a 60 day notice!!!!!!!!! I READ THE LEASE REALLY WELL. Good luck to those who live there.
