I am a current resident of Park Place By the Bay and when we moved in we thought it was a convenient place to live, we wanted to live high up for the view and were shown a 2/2 on a higher floor facing north. I asked if there was a noise problem (because club Space is 1 block ENE) I was told no... that the only people that had ever complained were the people around the pool.. What a load of crap. We moved in on a weekday and it was cool. Then the weekend came and we could not sleep because the noise is so loud you can hear it with the ac running, We hear it over our own Music or tv. Forget about sleep!

You can hear your neighbors conversations through the walls, and when they are playing bass or music it is loud!!! If you have a ;late night (2 or 3 or 4 am) noise problem with your neighbor, Forget about the management helping you. They DO NOT CARE! And will lie to your face and treat you like your wrong for calling security and they tell the people who are being loud who called and complained so you are also hassled for trying to have your right to quiet enjoyment upheld.

One of the amenities was that the management office accepted packages for you if you were at work, they stopped doing this. Now you do not even get notice.

The elevators are unsafe! There was this guy in one of the elevators and it fell 4 stories with him in it and the office told him it did not happen (no responsibility) The event was on camera. And most of the time only 2 out of the four elevators are working properly.

There are always tenants letting their young children go around the pool without supervision,(the gate locks no longer work)

If you have a guest you need to know in advance from your friends because some of the security people tell then your not home when they come to visit or they let anyone just come upstairs without notice or invitation.

The security here is a joke!!! The gates are always broken, The hot tub has only worked for 2 months total out of the 2 years we have lived here!

To summarize: If you move in here you will be sadly disappointed and frustrated! The management sucks and is not helpful. They treat you as if you should be grateful to live here!!! The laundry rooms are always dirty and the machines broken! Only 1 parking spot to an apartment. They enter your unit with out arranging an appointment, they just send a letter telling you when they are coming! The rent was raised after the first lease was up without notice. The carpet is worn out and old, the balconies are pealing paint, the kitchen cabinets are falling apart, there are cracks in the walls all of which was supposed to be fixed upon signing the new lease and never was. I signed the lease and then waited and started to call seeking the maintenance to fix the problems as promise and was constantly told they will be there you are scheduled, it has been 10 months.. still no maintenance! No bug person has been here in over a year and I keep asking and am told they came. I was in my unit at the time they supposedly came. Every time you walk outside the unit you are begged for money, I find homeless people sleeping in the hallways on my floor all the time!

i totally agree with u.. this was nice just a few years ago... not now.. new admin sucks... they lie in your face.. I will move out next year when my lease ends.. they will increase my lease to 1500$ and i wont pay more for a building that is craking down.. security is a joke... they fix one door 4 will broke... they fix that 4 and 8 will broke..

I live on Park Place and I agree on everything you say. This has been a pain for the last years. I still leave here because we are trying to buy a house and we do want to move twice... but we pay the price...
