I always ask myself why bad things happen to people like me; honest, sincere, moral, and educated. There are always fraudulent, lying, unscrupulous thieves like the manager of Pepper Cove Apartments, Tatiana Arizmendi, as well as the director, Dianna Mullis. These kinds of people only think about how to rob people like me of their hard-earned money. In my case, I made the mistake of giving $700 to hold an apartment for me because I was so desperate to move out of my residence, a $700 that I had so well saved up, and that I've now lost. The current managers of Pepper Cove, who have the difficult job of reviewing and approving applications are highly inept, dishonest, and act on evil faith take away your $700 like it was a penny's worth. In their own defense, they claim they are following the company's policies; policies that are not disclosed to applicants openly because they are written in the most diminute, microscopic font. Why is it necessary to pay $700 to "hold" an apartment, moreover $70 per adult who solicits an apartment' Since I found another apartment elsewhere that was more convenient to my interests, I opted out of moving into Pepper Cove. At Pepper Cove, they told me I had consequently failed to comply with the terms, and so they take the liberty of robbing my $700, when in fact they had told me before that the money was fully refundable should I take such action. The application fee was not refundable, but that's understandable. But $700 is much too money to be lost for a person like me, who sacrifices so much to earn so little. Don't let yourself be fooled by people like the managers of Pepper Cove. Ask questions, inform yourself of the policies, and don't pay $700 just to "hold" an apartment for you. For some, that money may be their only savings.
