I read all the reviews on this page, and yes they are true... avoid this place!! The wall are paper thin, I can even hear my neighbours take a leak, the are no security, those on the gate are just there, police shows up here all the time I've seen 4 times people escorting crazy people out, stupid teenagers make parties all the time and make noise in the balconies. The gym is a disgrace. You better dive in you toilet before using the pool.

But what I would like to tell you all is about the people they are letting live here! Ghetto people, criminals, drug dealers... why I say that' OK.
Facts: No more than a year ago in my building a black kid was shot in the parking lot because he was dealing with a drug dealer here. Police came and all.
In another building a girl was trap in the elevator with a mad black man who was touching him self and stop the elevator. The lady left the complex and of course Portofino keept her security deposit.
And there are more cases like those here, this are just examples.
People are rude and litter all the time, they make noise, hunk like crazy, speed inside the complex.
This is a doorm room/ prision/ ghetto. No place for people who actually prefers to live in peace.

totally true about how ghetto it is. And the drugs and super shady people that live there..yeah it's all true! So glad to be out of that dump! STAY AWAY!!!
