The apartments are pretty decent.

Pluses:

Low rent- $1025 for a 1 bedroom is about as cheap youll see in the Miami area without being in the ghetto or slummy area.

Garage- always nice to not have to fight for spots and have covered enclosed parking.

Ceiling fans- nice to not have to install yourself, and there's one in the living room and one in the bedroom.

Cons:

So far Ive had some issues with noisy neighbors as some have said. Im sorry but loud bass after midnight even on a Fri night isnt acceptable. Not everyone has a M-F schedule.

Also the pets are OUT OF CONTROL. If you dont like dogs and barking dont live here. Had I known this I never would have moved in. I had issues with a neighbor on one side with their dog barking at all hours of the night for an hour or 2 at a time (big dog, so loud bark). Luckily, management was VERY quick to talk to them about it and havent hear the dog since. Now of course get a new neighbor on the other side of me and they have some little yappy dog which barks all day.


Overall its not such a bad place to live. Ive seen ZERO mice or roaches (yes bugs exist, I know a shocker and they get inside sometimes.) Yes, crime exists everywhere, (in regards to the robbery comments in other posts) but havent heard of anything happening as of lately. Face it even in very nice areas there is sporadic crimes.

One word of warning though, which also if I would have known ahead of time I wouldnt have moved in. There is NO hurricane protection for the windows. How the hell you can run a complex right off the ocean and have no impact windows or shutters boggles the mind. The management's answer was "put up plywood on the inside." Sorry but thats moronic and wont stop 150mph wind when the window breaks and the wind is beating on the plywood pushing it inwards instead of against the nailing.
