HOME SWEET HOME ....I THINK NOT
From: -Anonymous-Date posted: 2/25/2004

I had a view of the Miami River and it was far from a beautiful site to see. If looking at old washed up tires and garbage is something you desire move here (don?t forget to ask for the lovely view which you pay extra for). Your better off spending the extra $500.00 to move to South Beach, Coral Gables or Brickell. They will have much more to offer you there, don?t let the price fool you; you get what you pay for.
Also included in the breathe taking beautiful view at Miami River Yacht Club you have the Miami River Draw Bridge you and your family will get the pleasure of listening to boats and ships go by at all times of the night, nothing sounds better than listening to bells ringing and horns sounding off all through the night. The best part about these apartments is the view of the park across the river which is a lot easier on the eyes than these apartments.
The upkeep of the premises is questionable due to some residents having dogs with no place to walk them chances are on your way to work or coming home you may find a surprise on the bottom of your shoes. Make sure that you get in your apartment during the day so you can watch your step.
Don?t forget to visit the Olympic size pool which gets cleaned only on special occasions. Also stop by and see the nonfunctional Jacuzzi which has NEVER worked and is there just for the newcomers to look at as they take the tour around the glorious apartments.
As for the staff I have seen 3 to 4 different managers (Michelle, Judith, Denise and now Maivel) in the short period that I have lived there. So seeing how if there is a problem you can tell the Manager about it but unfortunately they probably won?t be around longer enough to fix it or resolve the problem. Chances are you may end up tell the same story over and over again to Managers that may not be there tomorrow.
If anything that I have written is not true or you feel is over exaggerated call up 305-326-8800 and ask the now Manager Maivel how long do the tenants stay for. Also find out why are there so many units that are unoccupied. The only time the staff cares about you is when you give them 60 days notice that you?re leaving, and then they wanna know why' The trick is to care before you get the 60 days notice.
Enjoy your stay.
