don't rent here

I have to agree with the others...do not rent here unless you like noise, terrible parking, a rude unhelpful staff, and a trashy hallway. There are stray cats all over the place which they threatened to get rid of, but never have. Our carpet smells like cat pee and we've cleaned it two times. They leave the carpet wet when you look at the apartment so it looks clean, but when it dries all the stains show up. We had them come back to reclean it and it still looks and smells like crap.

Our neighbors below us continue to play loud music although we've complained. The smell of marijuana seeps up into our balcony as their dog barks constantly. They continually blare music from their car (as the apartment literallly shakes from the bass) in the parking lot as maintenance and managment drive by in their little carts smiling at them.

We have a terrible problem with parking, yet they just gave two handicap spaces to two tenants who DON'T EVEN USE THEM! They park in the regular spots, making the parking even worse. Any guests who come in the evening have to park behind the building and find their way around the complex to find the right apartment. I do have to say that not ALL the buildings have the parking issue, but ours does.

It is a shame the way those military guys acted; I know personally that they were dealt with. They are trying to move the single soldiers out of the complex, but I do fear who will rent in their place since some of the locals here seem to show a general disregard for neighbors, blaring texmex into the early hours of the morning and letting their children scream at the pool until nearly as late.

The security barely speaks English and argues with you when you call (if you're not hung up on).

The ducks crap all over the street and sidewalk and can be aggressive with the children. It is sad that a lot of the parents let their kids run around through the complex, especially since there are sex offenders living in the area (not the complex, but neighborhood).

The positives are the apartments are big, there is a beautiful lake (which also, negatively, carries sound across it), plenty of trees, elevators (which work MOST of the time), and it's close to everything (but be prepared for traffic and 107th avenue which they've been working on since last spring).
