I have lived here 6.5 years and let me tell you all these negative reviews about the property manager being horrible is an exaggeration. She is strict I give you that, but when a rule is set in place she does *not* budge at all. Anyone who is giving her trouble is almost *always* trying to break a rule, or bend it, or has already broken it and got caught.

The only issue I ever had with her was when there was a leak in the roof, now normally this is the unit above you's problem but in the end it seemed to be a drainage issue with ALL the ACs for my side of the unit. I do not believe she compensated the unit above me for the bill even though it was not his fault, but really outside of his unit and caused by a common area pipe. That's the only thing I disagreed about her with.

As for Spanish I have not had a problem. The security guards english isn't the greatest but if you tell him the building letter and your apartment number name he can usually come by or send someone who speaks better english. All the people in the office I have come in contact with speak englsih.

The hallways are cleaned every week, grass is cut often, there is an area to wash your car (unless there is a water restriction in place), and there are always improvements going on. Like the building was repainted yellow with an orangeish accent color, new washer and dryers, new brighter better lights for the parking lot a few years ago, some new gates, and after the hurricanes they were pretty quick to have people in here getting trees and debris out of the way and removed.

It doesn't deserve such a low rating. Most of these people must not be able to read because if they could then they would have known the rules in the booklet that they get when they move in, during an hour long *class* they must take.

Please the lady is over board. She treats her employees as if they are her children. Your just kissing her ass so she dont get on your case. I feel like am a delicuent having to carry an ID at all times. Is this jail or is the a living community. Rules are rules but some of them are just stupid.

The place lacks common courtesy, I would love for the management to do a survey within the community and ask "How would you rate our customer service" How would you rate our guards" etc, The place is very clean, I do appreciate that but you dont have to walk over people to get that done. She will scream at you if you express anything differently. She is in her own mind a small dictator of parking lots, and balconoy rules. Obvious she must have been influenced by some leftist movement in her life. Good luck to thos who decide to move here.

Absolutely ridiculous!!!!! Mireya operated as a community association mamager long before she obtained her license. Will her keep her job if she undergoes a ????divorce????come on! every body is afraid of her. There are rules, I am awared of that but, who on earth is Mireya VIllaverde to "inspect" county inspectors and have her crew of non-English speaking "dogs" aka security guards perfoming fire hazard and electrical inspections??????

Actually, I moved there in January 2009 and I have to say....YES, Mireya runs a tight ship...and yes...she can be extremely forceful when it comes to things done certain way....but I for one appreciate the fact that there aren't any underware drying up on the balconies, that it is pretty quiet, clean, the area looks always nice, parking is organized, and there's a pretty average if not better than average sense of seccurity. I am not sure what's the 1 hour class that you guys had to take..but that's not happening any more. Just the 130 question test, which I found extremely ridiculous at the beginging...but now I understand is a way to make people READ AND UNDERSTAND the rules. They took the time to make them to keep everyone on board and make it easier for ALL OF US to live here. Ultimately, those rules are for US who live here...not for her. We are the ones who otherwise would have to deal with Reggeton 24 hours a day, all sort of things hanging from balconies, people parking everywhere, anyway...Seriously! I lived in Washington Hights, NY. I know what I'm talking about. As for the birds...it's funny. Perhaps because I lived there for so long, I trully enjoy the fact that you can sit in your balcony and enjoy nature right there....I think it's beautiful. So....I do agree. If you have such horrible issues with the management...chances are you've done something against the rules. Same goes with seccurity. I've found them to be super nice and courtious towards me. Obviously I've never done anything to find their 'uglier' side...and trust me...I've had movers and people fixing all sort of things in this apartment....so if I wanted to piss them off....I've made them work many times. Yet...I've had an amazing experience here. Oh...one last thing...If anyone have roaches in their apartment...it's their own fault. They offer, free of charge, pest control every month. And...to top it all...they offer basic cable FREE of charge. If you want to add stuff to it...it's up to you. Atlantic broadban works pretty well and their prices are very competitive. ok, That's enough! Good luck to everyone and just remember, as long as you folow the rules (which are created just for our own easier living) you shouldn't have any problems.
