I lived at Vista Verde for 7 months and never had any of the problems listed in the previous reviews. I found it to be a nice, quiet, safe neighboorhood, close to the turnpike, but far enough away from the city. And while I did have about a 30 to 40 min. commute in the morning, I thought it was an even exchange given the area we lived in. My roommates and I never had any problem with thin walls or loud neighbors, even though we lived next door to a family with 3 small children! We also never had any problem with our cars being towed or our visitor's cars being towed, even when they were parked over night.
As for the office staff, while the manager was perhaps not always cheerful, she never asked about our comings and goings and was very helpful and worked with us when we needed to extend our lease a few weeks.
Overall, it was a good experience.
