I've been living here for 2.5 years, and overall, it's been a great experience. The other negative comments are a little exaggerated. I have a 2/2 master plan, and it's huge including the closets. Compared to other apartments, Vista Verde has the biggest floor plans. Whenever I call the office with a problem, it's taken care of within a day. I'm on the 3rd floor (no elevator) so I get plenty of exercise. Once in a while I'll here my neighbors. Overnight guests have had violation parking sticker on car window. No problems with safety or theft. I dislike that fact that this place is pet friendly because I've seen poop in the stairwell a couple of times, and on the sidewalk. But when I called the office about the poop, it was taken care of immediately. I dislike the off white walls and light color carpet. Not enough cabinet space for 2 roommates. They should invest in accordion shutters, since they don't put them up for us. And they rush you to take down the shutters, even though we have so many hurricane threats during the season. I hate the bathroom fan and the pipes make noise. I try to avoid the office staff because they are phony. The entrance gate is usually open, but I haven't seen or heard of any criminal acts here. The price is high but it's worth it. It's a safe, clean, and quiet area.
