ok, where to start. When my 2 other roomates and I moved in it was like that dream come true. First place and the apartments themselves are nice, no lie. All I know is after the old assistant manager who helped us when we moved in got fired or quit, this place went downhill. I lived on the left side of the apartments but I heard the right side is horrible, but I was on the smaller side. oh and don't let the gate fool you it never closes. the left side of the apartments is good because everyone just comes home and there really isn't a lot of noise or so it seemed to me. so for a while it was a nice place. management though here is the worst. the old lady gave us a hard time when we moved in and I really believe she got the nicer and more compassionate assistant manager fired or made her quit. She also misplaced a lot of extra money me and my roomates had been giving them. If you get paid to MANAGE a place and you are losing people's money that's BAD business. We still haven't been credited for the money lost. no big deal wan't much and we had the money. So, I guess the old lady decides to bring an black woman with an attitude in to keep tenants in their place. Good, im black too. I dont want anyone thinking im hating but I call it like I SEE it. 1) her tattoo was exposed on her left arm. 2) She also had gold fronts with a hood accent to match. always professional. So we begin talking about our cable problem and she cuts me off stating I have no authority because i'm not the lease holder....but I pay rent. o...k' If I give you money to get some liquor and you go to the store and add the SAME amount of money and buy it whose liquor is it' Anyway, I left pretty fustrated that I got completely nowhere and all I wanted to do was figure out a way to get our cable turned back on. which is another problem. they want you to buy the comcast through them for 40 bucks added in your rent. thats a good deal, problem is its only the cable and we needed internet too. so I call comcast and the just tell us to go directly through them and everything will be fine. 6 months later (shortly after our new assistant manager is hired) a letter goes out saying that people are stealing cable and not paying the apartment complex directly. For 6-7 months this wasn't a problem now all of a sudden its a problem. wow. We have been without cable for almost 3 months now but we're still footing the bill. management said for them to turn it back on it'll be an extra 40 and for us to sign more papers. These people are backwards beyond belief. We have just gotten a letter today stating that they are going to start issuing parking passes. only 2 passes per apartment...and there are 3 of us...I wonder what this is going to be like' Notice they mentioned ISSUE but i'm pretty sure we will be stopping by the office to pick them up. It is true that there be kids out but I have never seen any police on my side and those same little kids are in after 10 if someone is out they're usually smoking. I'm not here to just badger this complex I will keep real im usually the one coming in with my music blairing but I tell you this I have never kept it on more than necesary I roll in park it and go inside. and if you met me you would know that i'm a neighbor who is easily to get along with but management will make your life hell if you live here. I know this is long but these are some problems I am having, well me and my roomates are having. This is a REAL review by a REAL tenant. DO NO MOVE HERE! nice place wrong people.
