I do recommend Windsor at Miramar and I'm a current resident. The community is very well maintained and the staff is very nice and accomadating. Same can be said for the Maintenence Staff.

but..

The rent is very high but that is to be expected in South Florida. And these are truley Luxury Apartments because other apartments in the surrounding area are complete disgusting dumps. I have never had a problem with anything as far as bugs or rodents at all , only thing Maintnence needs to do is take care of the fire ant mounds along the lake because I was bitten on the foot and got a bad reaction from it.

I dont have children but they offer Movie Nights by the pool for the family and kids which is nice.

I wish the Security gates would open a little faster but at least they work..but that leads me to say that it is ultra annoying when someone tails you in and almost rear ends you in the process of sneaking in the gates..I HATE THAT!

My major complaint are this:

VEHICLES SPEEDING THRU THE COMMUNITY!..WINDSOR YOU NEED SPEED BUMPS IN THE COMMUNITY THAT IS THE ONLY WAY YOU WILL STOP THE SPEEDERS IS SPEED BUMPS! NOTHING ELSE WILL WORK TRUST ME! PEOPLE SPEED THROUGH AT ALL HOURS AND ITS DANGEROUS WHEN THEY DO THAT.

When the college housing was available here (dont think it still is) it was a mess!
Drinking at all hours , yelling , cursing, running around like idiots..but I think they did away with the Collegiate Housing.

I have been sent notices regarding apartments and cars being broke into but it hasnt happend to me..perhaps windsor needs a roving security guard over night.

Most of the negatives about the community are due to some of the bad seed residents its not a knock on the maintnence or staff.

Overall a nice community just hopefully they will address the speeding issue.

And the fire ant mounds because my foot was hurting...lol

Hi, how are you? Thank you so much for your comments. I really appreciate your compliments and your complaints and concerns. I wanted to let you know that we had the entire lawn sprayed for ants and other insects last week. You may have seen the signs left throughout the community lawn by the pest control company notifying you about the treatment to the lawn. Also, we have installed speed bumps in two locations on the main road. This has already reduced the speeders coming in and around the curve. We have ordered some more. They will be installed at any other location we may find that is not met with a Stop sign rather quickly. The maintenance manager and myself are surveying the property to try and determine where the best spots to locate them are. We have the speed limit signs being shipped to us now and once they arrive will be installed throughout the community. 90% of the staff lives on site and they too are going to recommend the best areas to install them. All of this should be complete by next week. You are correct about the collegiate units. They are all gone. We will continue to manage the community in a manner that limits as many issues as we possibly can. Sometimes we can't get them all. Again, I really appreciate your comments and complaints, which were actually very good suggestions for us to address promptly. We get a lot of great ideas and suggestions from our residents.
