Definitely not an island!

Compared to many other apatment complexes in Naples, Bermuda Island is a pretty good bargain. The apartments are fairly new, and are in great condition. The groundskeeping of the complex leaves something to be desired as bushes are often overgrown. Also, during the dry season the central lake is more of a large mudpit. Parking is usually not a problem until Friday or Saturday night. The laundry facilities are laughable. One room with 4 washers/4 dryers, and half of them were out of service during my time living there. The security gates are pretty much a joke, as one or both are out of service quite often. My number one biggest complaint about Bermuda Island would be the lack of a traffic light outside the complex entrance/exit. It is very dangerous and tricky to get in and out, especially during the rush hours. I do have a warning about moving in to the complex. The buildings are 3 floors high with no elevator. The hallways are wide enough to accomodate most furniture, but it is difficult to manuever around the stairwells to get to the uppermost floor. Be sure to have plenty of friends to help out! In spite of these complaints, I enjoyed living at Bermuda Island and would recommend it to anyone who could deal with the mentioned flaws.
