Too much construction

They planned on going condo in May 2006, so they sent ugly "move out" letters to the tenents. The market slowed down and no one was buying (probably because the place is a dump too). Now they are deep discounting and begging the residents to stay. The whole place is now under contruction, and a total mess. Lots of other nicer places in Naples to rent, I advise you pass on Bermuda Island.

Pretty much true about the construction mess and concessions. As far as converting the the new management has been renewing and offering new rentals since March of 2006. At the time of this email (July 2006) only building two was under construction. Now in January our construction buildings under renovation still aren't pretty but the five buildings that are nearly complete are becoming beatuiful and most of the residents were happy to exhange cheap rent for construction---the rent stays the same for the entire lease term even when construction is complete.
