College Park has given us by far the worst experience of customer service and living experience I have ever received. My husband and I lived in College Park for one year, with our lease up at the end of March 2009. From day one, The management had given us nothing but problems. We went for 6 months without pest control, and when I went to complain, they blamed it on us. We keep the apartment as clean as possible considering their buildings were in terrible shape and the appliances were dingy and have not been taken care of by anyone. The pest problem is unbelievable.
They have lied to us many times now about when we were to receive our deposit back. I spoke with Management 3 weeks ago on April 9th when she proceeded to cuss me out over the phone. How professional do you need to be or not be to manage a complex of 300 apartments' Then, once again I called on April 15th to check on the status of the deposit, the associate told me they had mailed it off that morning.
Now, a week later on April 23rd, we've not seen our deposit back yet. We called and talked to the Assistant Manager who told us our deposit was sitting on her desk. Our lease has indicated we would get the deposit back within 15 days of lease's end. Its now been 27 days since lease end and we have not received it.
The management is very rude and unprofessional. They refuse to take responsibility for the complex's appearance and upkeep. I'm so glad to finally be rid of College Park. It may be the cheapest apartments in Naples, Fl, but the hassle the complex causes makes all other more expensive complex's much easier to swallow the price for better service and a better experience.
