I am writing to respond to this last posting. As a representative of Malibu Lakes, I feel compelled to do so. We do in fact run a credit AND criminal search on EVERY applicant over the age of 18. It is part of our qualifying criteria, and the company who provides us with these searches is quite strict. So, this last posting is completely false, I have no idea why someone would make that up, but it is simply not true.
