Malibu Lakes Apartments is not a place you want to move into. Malibu Lakes has a major problem with mold, a/c freezing up, carpet sucks, no sun light, parking issues, gates aren't always closed and if they are cars line up out front until some one that does live here pulls up and opens the gate. Then you have ten cars that pile in behind. (and you know that they don't live here since they were waiting for someone to open the gate), not picking up your pets crap,letting your dog go in the pool, leaving your trash outside, 24 hour computer room NOT TRUE, kids driving fast,last but not least This is the number one reason NOT to move into Malibu LAkes.
The office staff If you have to deal with the manager Jackie Smith good luck she is a waist of time. She is a total airhead. She will say something to you one time and the next time it will be different. Then she will accuse you of being a liar. She's a real winner let me tell you. Oh Yeah the pool furniture at the small pool sucks. They took the furniture that we had at the pool and took it to another apartment complex and left us with crap. The fans were broken, holes in furniture, bathrooms at the pool have ands and spiders in them. one more thing in the soda machine by the pool well there was a dead fish in it. SO DON'T RENT AT MALIBU LAKES
