So, after the office staff said it wouldn't happen, here we go. (By the way - thank God for a new property manager - maybe things will get done when they are supposed to now.) If anyone finds a way to terminate your lease early without penalty, please post. Naples rental & real estate properties are becoming ridiculously overpriced. Where and when will it stop' They haven't yet released pricing on the units yet, but if they go for what other condo conversions in Naples have gone for, the mortgage payment for my place would be almost $1000 more than what I pay now for rent!'! Should be an interesting next few months.

I was told that the conversion will not take place as of April 06. Could it be that some investors are realizing that if all the affordable housing leaves, the people who work in the hospitality industry will leave with it. Ever try to get decent service in Naples when you go into a shop or restaurant? Might as well be making snowball on Naples Pier.
