Happy living here.........

My husband and I just moved here. We moved o/f a rental community that couldn't compare in a million years to this place and we weren't paying too much less. We truly love it here. It's peaceful, no one bothers you, parking isn't a problem and Maintenance has taken care of anything we needed. The grounds & pool is beautifully landscaped but I must mention, I've only used the pool a couple times and feel it could be maintained better as the water on both ocassions was cloudy and the bottom had a good amount of dirt. I've also noticed that the dumpsters could be emptied more often as they're always overflowing. However this is minor compared to what we have dealt with in our last place. To anyone that has a pet, take care in walking them along the access road that abutts the parking lot along the canal as we have spotted a couple aligators in the water. For the money, this place really feels like home, especially if your use to owning your own home and hesitant on renting like we were. Any place will have its problems, it's not easy living in a rental community but San Marino is really a beautiful & nice place to live and close to everything. I see that people have commented that the landscape is tasteful but nothing special....the only improvement I would make is to add mulch and more color but at least it's neat and mowed frequently. Overall this place is rated "Average" but I believe it's higher than that,as we searched for a new place since the day we signed a 6 month lease on our last place - we had just moved from up North and wasn't familiar with the area that we moved to. We had seen many if not all the rental communities in Naples and this place offers much more than any of the places we visited. We have a lofted apt with vaulted ceilings and a private entrance that overlooks a lake that we couldn't get anywhere else for the money. At night the view from our lanai reflects surrounding lights on the lake.
