I lived in TCA for almost 3 years. There were numerous car thefts (one right outside my window) 2 shootings (gang related) and an innumerable amount of firestation emergency calls. Children seemingly ran wild in the streets and stairwells. The management does nothing to help any tenant (except collect rent) They tore off the front of the buildings because they were in violation of safety codes, which took 2 months, without as much as a single dollar off the rent. The work, which consisted of heavy pounding and sawing right outside my windows started promptly @ 7am. They came in my apartment unannouced and tracked dirt and junk all over the carpeting. I had friends have their cars towed 4 times for parking overnight. $150- THERE ISN'T ENOUGH PARKING SPACE FOR ALL TENTANTS, let alone friends.

If cost is your only concern then this is the place to be. Be forewarned that living here isn't nice, fun, or joyful.

I have been moved out for 8 months and I still haven't gotten back my security deposit (which was $250)
