Not bad as a last resort
From: -Anonymous-Date posted: 7/18/2006
Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2006
The Good:
Nice people living in the community
Decent Price when we moved in.
The Bad:
Parking is hard to find, 2 cars allowed per person but not enough room to actually happen.
Some regulations are not children friendly, as in children as not allowed to play on the grass near the apartments.
The office is manned maybe half the time, the first trip there I couldnt find anyone to talk to about looking at an apartment. The new manager is not the most social person, and seems quite rude at times. Seems like when a question is asked that you are wasting her time. The assistant is great though. Very friendly and helpful
There is a gate, but it does not work and never has. When I moved in they said it was being worked on. I believe thats the story told to everyone.
Our air conditioner doesnt work properly, and we have complained numerous times. Our electricity bill is around $240 a month. I have had a larger house that cost less in electric a month.
Our neighbors are nice people, but when they move around upstairs you can hear it all. Running, jumping, moving furniture.
The trash compacter seems to overflow once a week. The result is a pile of trash the size of a large SUV sitting beside it. Why nothing is done about this I do not know. There is a sign stating that the area is being video taped this does not stop people from leaving larger objects though. Couches, washers, dryers, tables, and other items.
