Ocean *Hoax* was my first apartment with my fiance and our 2 children. We were ECSTATIC about moving in and at first the office staff were very nice. To this day we know of the same people working there and we lived there in 2003. I guess it's just because they both have their heads so far up each others' asses that NEITHER one of them can leave without the other one. I mean come onthe property manager is a short ----- who refuses to live on propertyTHAT CAN'T BE SAYING ANYTHING GOOD FOR THEM'!!!!!!! My daughter was only 6 months old when we moved in there and by the time her first birthday came around she had been seen by her doctor for freakin spider bites about 5 times. The manager said it was normal because we had a downstairs apartment and it just happens. I can tell you what thoughthe managers' daughter sure as hell didn't have bugs in her apartment. Nor did my neighbors next door to me (not upstairs but literally next door) The ONLY thing that was good there were the parties our neighbors and I threw. We had the best times there ONLY because of them. Parking really wasn't an issueI mean we had to park across the drive at the other buildings but hey that's expectedit isn't a house so therefore we knew we wouldn't have a parking space to ourselves. Anywaysthis apartment complex sucks and I would NEVER recommend them to ANYONE!!! When we moved out we got charged for carpet that wasn't even new when we moved in thereit was already 3 years old and the manager told us that the previous tenants had no pets and our neighbors said they had a dog which was why we all of the sudden had black spots turning up! I hate this place and I wish NOTHING BUT THE WORST FOR THE OFFICE WHORES!!!

How rude!! We have been residents of Ocean Oaks since 1998 and have always been very satisfied. The fact that we have had the same staff for several years says alot, the staff has always been polite and personal. Who wouldn't want a staff that chooses to continue to stay at one place. The fact that you clearly stated that even your neighbors immediately next door did not have bugs but you did might indicate that you might just be the problem... And to say the only thing good is the parties that you and your neighbors threw, has to be the most ridiculous statement because it is neighbors like you that bring a neighborhood down and maybe just maybe that is why you think the staff is awful, they were so busy trying to keep your end of the community clean while continuing to babysitting you.
