Room for improvement

I lived here for one year. When I moved in, they had some really great move in specials and everything was in great working order. Within a few months the security door broke, the elevator broke and my air conditioning broke - twice. The first time my air conditioning broke it was fixed in about 2 days. The second time it broke it was fixed after a week and a half and after numerous phone calls. The elevator stayed broken almost all of late summer and fall (just about 3 -4 months) and when I left the security door was still never fixed. For the most part the staff was ok. I only wanted to deal with Lisa or Sara because they were the only ones who seemed the least bit concerned when anything went wrong. The other people have MAJOR attitude problems. I guess they figure they got you in there, why bother anymore'
Also my other major pet peeve was parking. I understand that its not something that can be remedied overnight but I was there a whole year and the parking situation remained the same - horrible. They claim to have "valet" parking. Their definition of that is ONE person taking and moving all the cars. Which means if that one person is already moving a car and there are 3 cars that pull up you all have to wait and wait till he comes running back. Also the way they parked cars should have been cited! Once they run out of spaces, beware cause they'll just block you in. I have had many many times where I came home, wanted to leave again and had to try to find and flag down the valet guy who is busy parking all these cars to move not one but two cars from blocking me! AND DON'T EVEN THINK IT GETS BETTER IN THE MORNING! If you have to leave out the parking lot before 7:45 am FORGET IT. You are almost guaranteed to be blocked in. And you WILL have to wait. Sometimes five minutes sometimes 15! Depends on where the valet guy is and how many other people are waiting to be able to move too. HASSLE!
Many tenants took their frustration out on the valet guy, its not his fault its management!
The only good thing I'd say about the place is its location but unless you plan on staying at home and looking out on the bay all day, its hardly worth it. So location, half the staff (I heard Lisa and Sara are gone now),and the fact that I was able to use my deposit as last months rent were the only good things about the place. Its just ok. My apartment was also ant infested. I was more than happy to move out!!
