You won't want to live here

I lived at Parrots Landing for about 10 months now. I am looking forward to moving out at the end of my 1 year lease. I moved to South Florida from Ohio so I didn't know the area very well. Parrots Landing's management is awful. They think (especially elder ladies) they've created the world. They think everybody loved to live at their horrible place and they don't care anything about you. They treat you like crap. Stay away from this place and management since there are much better places around within the same rent rate.

I disagree strongly with this statement. Our stay at Parrots landing has been outstanding, The mangement team have been a pleasure for both my husband and I to work with and I cannot wait to renew my lease with them. I believe that sometimes we as humans have the tendancy to hold 1 mark against someone for the rest of their lives when we ourselves are not perfect. It is a quiet neighbourhood, I feel safe-- and I and my husband have the privacy we want. It is a great PLACE!

I lived at Parrot's Landing for two years and was there for a change in management. I will agree that the new "regime" is very much hard to deal with and very uninterested in anything other than getting in at 10 am and leaving at 5 pm. Look elsewhere. I haven't been happier since I've moved out of that place. Also, the building itself is not conducive to a lot of privacy considering you can hear anybody walking on the floor above you -- even the lightest walk -- and you can't put your TV more than a few bars before the sound bleeds through and bothers everyone around you. Horrible place to live.

I agree, this is a horrible place, I moved in just a few months ago, they pulled a bait and switch on me, raising the rent on me literally 12 hours before I moved in, after I had already signed a lease and agreed on a certain amount. I have reported problems with my apartment since my first week there, it is now month 4, and not one issue has been even looked into.
