Worst Apartment Ever, Worst management ever

This has got to be the worst apartment complex I have ever lived in. The management has deceived me and lied to me many times. They basically pulled a bait and switch on me, I had signed a lease agreeing to a specific move in day and a certain monthly amount for rent. Literally 12 hours before I moved in, they told me that the apartment I had leased was not available, and that I would have to take a $200 dollar per month more expensive renovated unit- The renovated unit is clearly not worth that much, the only difference is different countertops, faucets, and light fixtures in the bathroom- we are not talking Moen faucets here, they got ones that look nice, but when I checked the prices for identical units at Home Depot, they are all under $30 a piece, and the counter tops aren't granite or anything.. nothing justifies the price hike. I had no choice but to accept the $1162 apartment even though I have a signed lease stating I was supposed to get a $900 per month apartment.
Due to this price hike, my rent was late a couple of months in, and they put me up for eviction before my rent was even 1 month late. Even though the lease states that their late fee is $100, i ended up with a total of $540 in fees for my rent being just a few weeks late. There is no documentation in the lease that allows these fees. I feel like they are strong arming me for more money. These people are cruel and uncaring, and deserve to be massively sued. They have violated their own lease terms multiple times and are proud about it.
As far as issues with the apartment, I asked for a ground level apartment facing some body of water- they gave me a second floor apartment in the most inconvenient location on the Parrot's Landing grounds. The closest I could get with my moving truck was about 1 football field away from my apartment. They also told me that the apartment I was moving to had an average monthly electric bill of about $100, the lowest my electric bill has ever been in this apartment is $230, which is totally outrageous- I have a friend with a 6 bedroom house in Fort Lauderdale that pays less than $150 a month for power. The nearest trash dumpster is over a 1/4 mile away, and involves crossing a 4 lane road to get to, imaging walking a 1/4 mile in Florida heat, holding a week's worth of trash, it's not fun. The sound insulation is completely non existent, it sounds like there is a Marching Band living above me sometimes, even the slightest step echoes throughout the apartment.
Parrot's landing has the most crooked management in history, and I hope they are sued into oblivion.
DO NOT LIVE HERE, DO NOT BELIEVE THEIR LIES ABOUT MOVE IN SPECIALS

Wow! I agree. Picture this, I'm waiting for the 15th of this month to move in my newly renovated apt. and I'm noticing people moving. My boyfriend and I are sitting on the patio and our new neighbors introduce themselves. You wouldn't believe it but they say that they are moving in the exact apartment we are suppose to move in!!!!! I went to the computer and found this posting. I was overwhelmed to respond! Wow!
