Overpriced, reduced amenities, and low security.

When I lived there, the "security" would often let people in without calling. The buildings originally had call box security installed, but it has been disabled for many years. There used to be a convenience store on premises, but they were removed and a studio apartment put in its place. The fitness center is up a steep flight of stairs with no elevator or wheelchair access. The car wash area costs as much as standard gas stations and does not have correct vacuum fixtures, just a large plastic coil hose.

My floor was a vinyl adhesive tile floor applied over the old damaged linoleum, and peeled up easily. The bathroom fan never worked for years during my stay, and rents rose an average of 10%-15% each year. When I first moved to Greenwich in the year 2000, the rent was $630/month for a 1 bedroom, with full access to the fitness center, both swimming pools, tennis, raquetball, convenience store, and gate security and call box security in each building. When I left in 2008, the management had changed over at least 4 times, the rent for new tenants was over $1000/month, there was no call box security, no convenience store, access to only one of the two swimming pools, fees to play tennis, raquetball or use the fitness center, and several new coats of paint on the building that are already peeling. They spent quite a bit of money to build a brick-paved entrance with a elegant look fountain, but I would have preferred that they fixed the call-box security on the buildings instead. There are so many restrictions placed now on balcony use that you might as well not have a balcony or patio in your apartment at all. The outside barbecue grills (very small) are absolutely filthy and unfit for any cooking purpose whatsoever.

All in all, it's a very convenient location, but the rent's not worth that, ESPECIALLY when the security is so poor.

Another shady item: When I moved in, I was told the square footage of my apartment was 800 square feet. Now they're advertising the same apartments as 750 square feet. My apartment didn't shrink. But I knew when I moved in that it wasn't 800 sq. feet.; more like 650.

We live here now and feel like we're stuck in prison! Try paying Over $1300 for a 2 bedroom. We're counting our days to MOVE OUT!!!!!!!! We hate it here! All the false fire alarms, the loud parties until 3 am when security does NOTHING about it, the lack of security, and the bugs- exterminators are a stupid joke! WE've had to hire our own exterminator to take care issues. Rediculous!!!!

I lived there for 2 years and I have to agree with the rest of you its deffinitly not worth it. I luved the location, right next to everything but our air condition broke 4 times in the last 6 months and we had to fix it ourselves twice. The adhesive floor peeled in my apartment also we were missing tiles around the stove and fridgerater. Our broken fridgerator was replaced with a much smaller used one they took from one of the remodeled apartments so it did not hide the old linolem that they did not spend the time to pull up or even hide with the newer floor, they were just glued together and the management came to look at it along with are non sliding balcony doors and never returned. Our front door was just a piece of wood they cut to big of wholes in the door for doornobs, so they were always loose and they never painted it. The carpet was not tcked down properly and was coming up in the closets. The new management spent money for a nice pretty fence around the pool but forgot they should fix the one in the back that has been broken since hurricane willma or replaced the short one on the side of the trailer parks. A lady was robbed at gunpoint right outside of my building and another lady in the building next to me. The delivery men did not like coming thereadn night security would leave and just leave the ate up. People who didnt even live there would just wave and smile and be let in. My neighbor told security not to let someone in the gate but thy did anyways and she had to call the police. They only upkeep the two front buildings s and n because them are the ones everyone see at first. Buidings A, B, C are always dirtier and never have proper maintnence. The elevator was broken for two years and like the first complaint they spent tons of money on new signs< brick pavement and flowere but couldnt fix anything in your apartment or pay security a little more so maybe they would do their job correctly>
