I have had problems here, true. Maintenance is not great - the gutters for all of the buildings have never been cleaned out in the entire time I've lived here (over 2 years). If you look at some of the buildings - there are trees and plants growing in the gutters! That's how full of debris they are. It's a problem when it rains. The doors of many of the apartments are warped for this reason. The weeds are abundant, as are the many dead trees, which I've seen fall on cars! The complex claims that the city won't let them cut them down, the city says that the complex never asked and if buildings/cars are being damaged by dead trees, they most certainly would give approval. He said/she said and the only losers are the tenants whose belongings are damaged.

My biggest complaint would be the noise. There are a lot of young people in the complex and they have no manners and they've driven away the older tenants. The kids sit outside in the cars and listen to their music at decibel levels you'd hear at a concert... or worse yet, inside listening to surround sound. ((You are in an apartment complex people - no one wants to listen to your taste in music or movies! Show a little consideration - if you want surround sound that badly, go rent a house. You'll get to listen to whatever you want at whatever sounds you want and not bother anyone. Otherwise, if you stay here or want to move here - be polite. Show some manners and consideration. It won't kill you and will actually make you a better person!)) The apartment walls are superthin and you can hear everything from one place to another. You get feedback in apartments, they're not soundproofed, but this place is a little worse than normal. However - I hear the other apartments more the younger the tenant, so you figure it out.

I've never had an issue with the manager, as a matter of fact she's helped me a number of times, either with other tenants or personal issues. Do I think she could do a better job managing and choosing tenants' You bet, but I think that's normal when you don't own your own place and you think you can do a better job - armchair quarterbacking and all that. Other than the gutters, anything I've had that has broken has been fixed in a timely manner, and right the first time (unlike my last place). Overall, it's not a terrible place.

I'm ambivalent, and I'm giving that rating, because I'm not sure I'm going to stay here. While I think that for the rent and the space, it's a great deal and a nice space - I'm tired of listening to rude neighbors. There are a ton of afforable rental HOUSES where I won't be attached to anyone.

Well, in response to your review on triple crown apartments, you are dead on right when it came to the gutters and tress; however you did not mention parking. There were always problem with parking. How in the world can you have alot of apartment buildings and no where for the tenants to park. I lived there for a year and I was not a satisfied tenant. The trees were an issue as you have mentioned. They were never trimmed at all. In fact, I agree that a branch from one of the trees had fallen on a tenants car cause I there. I heard a loud noise from out of my window and rushed out to see about it. I was also mad right along with him. Management did nothing as a matter of fact, they gave him the run arounds. I also agree that the walls are thin because I heard my neighbors in whatever conversations they had. Imagine who might have heard me. I am not thrilled at all with that place or management because I am not a dirty person. I kept the place clean and even had the carpet professionally cleaned just to make sure I get my security deposit back--and guess what! I never got it back!! The only thing good about the place was the maintenance person because if there was a problem, he would try to fix it.oooh, about that parking space again, they so called fixed it by just putting white rocks on top of slope and whala! that was the extra parking space. The apartment is also right beside the ghetto-est apartment ever. The first time that I saw a gun up close was when I moved to Triple Crown Apartments. I have never had to deal with hearing gunshots. That is not Cool@!!
