Management/staff must be writing positive reviews in an effort to offset the negative things that have been written...if you want cheap move here, but don't expect much in return for what you pay for. :>(

Ok, I'll concede that the review titled "Missing My Home" was a BIT over the top, but the one that says "Not that bad" and my own "Best place in OP to live" sound pretty accurate to me. (Biased as I am about my own!) Whereas the "Missing my Home" sings nothing but praise, the other two give pros AND real cons to living there. SOME people might not want to move somewhere where the office is closed on Saturday and Sunday. SOME might not like that the buildings are older. And sometimes you get stupid neighbors that grill on their porch or balcony, or ones that party until 3am. If you're going to complain or say they aren't a good place to live, at least have the courtesy to tell readers WHAT it is that is so bad. Gull Cove was my first apartment I ever lived in, on my own away from my parents. It was the best experience I could have asked for. I cried when I moved out and turned my keys into Cathy because I was going to miss my apartment. I miss having a (mostly) clean coin washer and dryer room in the breezeway outside my front door (as opposed to a dirty community laudry that only takes paycards). I miss having three or four dumpsters at their small complex, as opposed to ONE dumpster for a HUGE complex. And I REALLY REALLY miss my walk-in closet. Orlando's idea of a walk-in closet is an L-shaped hole in the wall, which can HARDLY be called "walk-in!" My advice for folks using this website: Look at the most COMMONLY MENTIONED WORST comments; decide what you can live with, and you'll get a decent apartment. Ignore the comments that say ONLY positive things and ones that don't have ANY bad feedback. Please note...I haven't lived there since 6/2006, so maybe things took a turn for the worst. I sincerly hope not, because *I*, for one, liked living there.
