The name has changed (now Lighthouse at Fleming Island), in case you want to look it up. Everything about Lighthouse is perfect. The staff is friendly, maintenance is super-fast, the grounds are impeccable, and the apartments themselves are new and quite large. We love our lake view, and we've never had any problems with noise. It's on the outskirts of a subdivision, and it really feels like part of a neighborhood. The surrounding businesses know us by name, and even the folks at the local supermarkets are super-friendly. We've been here 1 1/2 years and plan to stay for quite a while.

I noticed that the one positive review is from an unknown- must be one of the crooks in the office- all of the bad (read true and correct) reviews are from real people you can respond to anytime online- worth noting I think. John C. McIntosh at hotmail.com

I agree, this place is ran by a bunch of crooks, and lasy slobs that are as corupt as they come. The property manager is hard to find in the office, and the assistant manager is clueless. The other half witted girls in the office do nothing but complain about all the long hours they work and find whatever way they can to assist and bend the rules for those of the residents they like and or associate with outside of work. They have no security at all in this complex, even though thay advertise after hours courtesy patrol. While living here have had several disturbances after midnight, when I called the after hours phone number, I had no one respond. Stair ways and pool are dirty, there is dog crap all over, and good luck finding a parking spot after 6 pm. Would not recomend for my worse enemy...

i would agree with what you guys just said. this is not a good place to live. from the parking problem to the dog crap everywhere and most importantly the office. the office is a joke. i really don't know how else to say it, they are horrible. good luck trying to get them to solve a concern, problem, or complaint of yours. i have already complained to the better business bureau and i've called the corporate offices.... waiting on a call back at this point. people!!!!! LISTEN TO ME.... DO NOT LIVE HERE! GO RENT A TOWNHOUES AT CARRINGTON PLACE OR LAKE RIDGE NORTH or if you have to get something in oak leaf. you will not only save money but you won't have to deal with the unresponsive nature of the lighthouse office staff. the lighthouse apartments have turned into the ghetto. there are so many drugs being sold here it's not even funny. and i have heard that straight from the mouths of the school councilors at fleming island high school. skip this place and move on to the next. you won't regreat it. i can promise you that!!!
