Lighthouse Court is a terrible place to live! Granted, it is pretty, but getting in and out of leases is terrible. I am active duty military, and they charged me (and many friends) through the roof to envoke the military clause when we were verbally promised that this would not be the case.
Do not fall for their tricks and thier lies. The move-in specials will be tempting, but they will rob you in the end. STAY AWAY!!!! AD2Hw9Wn8Umb3NN1w1jt

While I dont doubt your story, I am active duty military myself and can emphatically state a verbal agreement is worth the paper it is written on. Ensure you get military clauses IN WRITING! Most apartments are more than happy to do this and many have a specific page for their military clients. If it is in writing, you have legal recourse. If not, "prove I ever said it" comes into play. Never rely on word of mouth; make sure it is written in before you sign. |

You don't know the facts. This apartment complex puts a military clause in their lease, but they also include a state law that they claim subverts the federal law. They are silly because everyone that has been wronged by them that brings it to their attention is getting a refund. The lighthouse court is being forced to refund the money taken from our military men and women illegally. Armchair quarterback that one. |
