I moved to this apt complex in 8/03. We moved out 8/05. While we were living there a hurricane hit and took the entire roof that needed replacing anyway. we had extensive damage to the LR,DR,kitchen and MBR. insulation was everywhere. We were provided amenities of 1BR (We had a 3 BR) for 2 months while it was being fixed. We had to beg to have the carpet replaced. The complex is listed as gated. The gate never works. There is high theft in the area. My husband was trying to start a pressure washing business. The entire trailer with the pressure washer and other materials were stolen. There have been cars and other trailers stolen. We are active duty military. We had orders to leave. We were charged $900 to replace the carpet. We were not notified. We were under the military partnership prgram. Housing wasn't notified nor was my husband's command. We received a walk through before leaving and were told the apartment was in good standing. The carpet was less than 1yr old. Now my husband has the $900 deficiency on his credit report. Military beware! From what I understand this happens often.
