Mariner's Wharf is a fine place to live as long as you don't have school age children. It's a great place for a single person or a couple with a small child. Unfortunately, the school district is terrible.

I found the management very responsive to my requests (fixing a kitchen drawer, replacing the drip pans).

Yes, there is a train nearby (but you should have noticed it when you drove over!). I had no issue sleeping through it.

The whirlpool never worked, but with the weather down here, who cares.

I was not on the gated side, but I never had an issue with security.
