I lived there for in 1999/2000. When I moved in in January of 1999, this place appeared to me messy and stinky, but by mid of 2000 this place roll down he hill the bottom to very hell. Around my apartment I saw drug dealers, whores, noisy drunks to name few. In April of 2000 I went to the office and asked them to do something about the noise, since being in school I need some quality of sleep to perform well in school. Of course the noise in front of my window continued. I went again two weeks later with the same issue. It stopped the noise for ONLY a week. So discouraged at the end of May I gave them 30 day notice. I wanted to be fair with them; I wanted to pay the one month penalty for breaking the lease (that is what every decent apartment complex does). They said that I have to pay until the expiration date of my contract, unless they find someone who will replace me. I said OK, I will find someone, and then they said NO. They will decide whether or not they put him in my apartment. What?s the hell. I moved out not paying them a penny, because you cannot negotiate with them. They screwed my credit. It is they only thing they are good at.
